Galatasaray yönetimi Kewell’ı elden kaçırmamak için kolları sıvadı… Başkan Adnan Polat, Futbol A.Ş. Genel Müdürü Adnan Sezgin ve Futbol Şubesi Sorumlusu Haldun Üstünel bu hafta içinde bir araya gelerek Kewell’ın durumunu masaya yatıracak.
Sezon sonu sözleşmesi bitecek olan Harry Kewell’ı yeniden takımda tutmak isteyen Sarı-Kırmızılı yöneticiler yıllık 1.8 milyon Euro alan Avustralyalı futbolcuyu ayrı rakama ikna etmek istiyor. Ancak G.Saray’dan yıllık 2.5 milyon Euro isteyen Kewell’a bu rakamın verilmeyeceği en fazla 2 milyon Euro’ya kadar çıkılacağı öğrenildi.
Ülkesinden döndüğü an Kewell’la görüşmeyi planlayan yöneticiler belirlenen rakamı kendisine teklif edecek.

Harry Kewell, you have become Galatasaray’s symbol and face. We love you for your beautiful display of football and good manners. Even if you are injured at times we want to see you in our squad and among us. We cannot imagine Galatasaray without you anymore. If you leave we will lose everything. Please stay with us! We love you!
